dates and a short biography available at Wikipedia

Today (January 8, 2018) I would like to start to compile a Peter Trunk discography - as complete as possible. This will include all kinds of records, radio broadcasts and private tapes. The covers will be included as well - as long as these are available. The basic information comes from my collection and from the www.

If anybody is the owner of rights please drop a line. Hopefully - as this is a non-profit task - nobody's around who gets angry.

All issued titles on Singles, EP's, 10inch, LP's or CD bear letters whereas all unissued titles bear numbers.

Dr. Michael Frohne (Lauchringen, D)

P.S. All unknown dates can be found at the very end. Some of the Kurt Edelhagen dates are unknown. These can also be found there. And some dedications to P.T. as a kind of orbituary.

Hooray, it is finished! Send your additional information and corrections!

NEWS:

February 2018 was the 60th anniversary of the NDR Jazzworkshops. So NDR-Info broadcast an excerpt of the first Workshop as a kind of appetizer. Not more, since only 10 titles reached our ears. But some very fine bass solos of Peter Trunk during some standards like f.i. "There'll never be another you".

See information below about all tunes played on February 21, 1958.

Addition!

See the fine article on Peter Trunk written by Prof. Manfred Bründl. He is a great follower of Peter's musical stylings and his words are full of love and admiration.

MANFRED BRÜNDL SILENTBASS

LINERNOTES (Deutsch):

Peter Trunk (* 17. „Tip Of
