Booker Ervin (Neue Fassung)

THE BOOK STILL COOKS - A BOOKER ERVIN DISCOGRAPHY

compiled by Michael Frohne

Photo?

a young Wolfgang Dauner at piano

the trumpet player is prob. Conny Jackel

These photos by Woldemar von Kiparski were probably shot in Stuttgart during a concert with members of the Erwin Lehn Orchester. Date is unknown but could be around October 1965.

This is a first draft of a Booker Ervin discography. It is based on my own collection, additions from collectors all over the world and a radio show produced and announced on Radio Dreyeckland. This show was done by Heinrich Lukas Lindenmaier and myself - dated between 1990 and 2000. Matthias Winkelmann promised to help but this never happened.

Everybody is invited to take part in corrections, additions and all kind of information. Just drop a line.

Dr. Michael Frohne

michael-frohne@web.de

I would like to remind that George Wattieau issued a discography in 1987. This publication by MICROGRAPHY is out of print since many years. Maybe HLL used this for the radio show.
