David Stone Martin

Each jazz-fan around the globe knows the drawings of David Stone Martin. Jazzrealities would like to add a rather unknown side of his talents. In the WWW you can found the drawings DSM did during WW II; even the small ads for various companies done in the 50's are available. But DSM also illustrated some books! These drawings are presented here.
Hopefully more than 40 years after the English translation was issued by Alfred A. Knopf, New York it is not really against law to let all David Stone Martin fans see the drawing. All are signed with the usual DSM signature.

The book is the English translation of Michel Tournier's version of FRIDAY AND ROBINSON, LIFE ON SPERANZA ISLAND. Michel Tournier's first novel, 'FRIDAY, won the Grand Prix du Roman of the Academie Francaise, as well as international praise. After completing this adult book, based on the Robinson Crusoe theme, Monsieur Tournier decided to share his research and enthusiasm for the story with young readers also - and so he wrote another book. Translated by Ralph Manheim it was issued in 1972 by Alfred A. Knopf, New York.

If somebody wants this presentation to be erased please drop a line. It will be done right after reading the mail.

Harry Partch

the recordings of music as composed by Harry Partch

a discography compiled by H.Lukas Lindenmaier (Lukas died in February 2014, RIP)

ADDITION: The covers were added from the internet files. The copyright belongs to the people who issued them. (Michael Frohne)

Maybe there is somebody on this planet who can update this disco. It was done after our radio show on Radio Dreyeckland (with the help of Bernhard Brüchig - Thank you Benno!). I cannot remember the dates of broadcasts but it most be about 15 years ago.
